Lindsey leads Fortius’ M&A and financial services practices, advising Fortune 100 companies and venture capital firms across banking, fintech, retail, agriculture, and media on how to navigate politics around their most consequential business decisions.
She advises CEOs, boards, and senior leadership through their highest-stakes moments, from closing some of the largest and most closely watched transactions in the market to managing government investigations, hearings, and reputational pressure. She also helps build the messaging campaigns and public narratives that carry a company through those moments. And she stays on long after as a steady strategic partner, working alongside a company’s team to keep them ahead of the next fight.
Lindsey served as Chief of Staff to Senator Amy Klobuchar, advising on policy, legislative strategy, and communications, and managing the Senator’s work on the Judiciary, Commerce, and Agriculture Committees. Before that, Lindsey served as Democratic Staff Director and Chief Counsel of the Senate Rules Committee, where she was a key negotiator on legislation and appropriations. Throughout her time on the Hill, she helped manage major hearings, including multiple Supreme Court confirmations and other significant nominations.
Lindsey holds a B.A., an M.A., and a J.D., all from Georgia State University. She lives in Baltimore with her husband, Grant, and their twin daughters.
