John is a nationally recognized leader in corporate government relations, known for building effective strategies that bridge policy, politics, and strategic communication.
He is the Principal of KDM Government Solutions, a multistate government relations consulting firm based in Boston and Washington, D.C., that helps companies and industry associations achieve their goals with governors, attorneys general, state legislatures, and partisan and non-partisan third-party groups.
For over two decades, John has built winning solutions in competitive, highly regulated environments and complex public policy landscapes, earning a professional reputation as a trusted senior advisor, strategist, and bridge builder, including as Vice President of Intergovernmental Relations for Comcast NBCUniversal. A veteran of several political campaigns, John serves on the finance committees of both the Republican Governors Association and the Democratic Governors Association, and is a member of the Business Advisory Council for the Democratic Attorneys General Association.
John holds a B.A. from St. Michael’s College, where he was a member of the varsity baseball team, and an M.A. in Political Communication from Emerson College.
